Time flies when you’re providing in-depth bi-monthly discourse around eldercare, senior living, and caregiving! Just ask Michelle Seitzer, GL Editorial Services’ social media strategist who oversees GLES client SeniorsForLiving.com’s #ElderCareChat.
The Gina LaGuardia Editorial Services team developed the popular conversation, facilitated via Twitter and supported by a dedicated Linkedin #ElderCareChat group, in conjunction with Denise Brown of Caregiving.com in November 2010. This week’s November 5th #ElderCareChat chat marks the event’s 4th anniversary.
Since its inception, the bi-monthly #ElderCareChat has attracted a very diverse following, from representatives of senior living communities and senior care corporations to individual caregivers, adult children, and those who have a passion for elders and compassionate caregiving.
An average of 50-65 individuals regularly participate in the online #ElderCareChat sessions, generating approximately 5 million+ impressions per discussion topic.
In addition to Seitzer’s daily Twitter efforts on behalf of the account (@Seniors4Living), #ElderCareChat has helped the RealPage Senior Living-owned company build its Twitter and Facebook base, further establishing the site as a trusted source for senior and eldercare information.
